Baker and Holterman Complete School of Advanced Lending

Mid America Bank is proud to announce that Mark Baker, loan officer, and Ben Holterman, AVP, loan officer, completed the Missouri Bankers Association’s School of Advanced Lending.

The Advanced Lending School is designed to reflect contemporary trends affecting the financial services industry and to meet the growing need for lenders to have the latest knowledge and preparation for complex lending situations. Topics include in-depth sessions on asset-based lending and bank liquidity, while the school itself fosters insightful discussions with peers.

Baker has been in banking for 17 years and prides himself on being a valuable resource for his clients and the community. “I want to provide tools and advice to improve my clients’ financial outlooks, whether personal or business,” Baker says. He is active in the communities he serves as a member of the Linn R-2 School Board, chair of the United Way of Central Missouri Fund Allocation panel, member of State Tech’s Agribusiness Advisory Council and board member for the Osage County Anti-Drug Community Action Team.

Holterman has been in banking for seven years and loves being a part of exciting events in his clients’ lives, from buying their forever home to starting their own business. Holterman says, “Whenever you bank with me, you are getting a partner that is passionate about helping you achieve your financial goals.” He is a member of St. Joseph Parish in Westphalia where he serves on the parish finance committee. He is also a member of the Westphalia Lions Club and Rich Fountain Knights of Columbus.
