Branson Bank Promotes Stacy Cash to AVP, Business Services & Operations Officer
Branson Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Stacy Cash to assistant vice president, business services & operations officer. In this role, Cash will continue to play a critical role in delivering efficient, secure and innovative services to business customers. Her expertise ensures that business customers receive reliable operational support and a seamless digital banking experience.
With more than 16 years of experience in the banking industry, Cash has developed a deep understanding of customer service, digital operations and evolving financial technologies. Additionally, she has earned the Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) designation, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in electronic payments and ACH services.
“Stacy consistently demonstrates a strong eagerness to learn and grow, which has made a meaningful impact on our operations team and the customers we serve,” said Katie Hodges, EVP, chief operations officer. “Always willing to step in, support others and find solutions, Stacy’s commitment to excellence makes her a valued asset to our organization. Cash serves as an ambassador for the Hollister Chamber of Commerce, attending ribbon cuttings and monthly meetings, and volunteering for community events. She enjoys a variety of crafts, scrapbooking and spending time with her husband, Tracy, and son, Alex.
Branson Bank Promotes Norma Desrochers to AVP, Senior Business Relationship Banker
Branson Bank is honored to announce the promotion of Norma Desrochers to assistant vice president, senior business relationship banker, in recognition of more than 29 years of banking experience serving her community.
In this elevated role, Desrochers will continue to leverage deep expertise in senior-level retail banking products and services, with a strong focus on supporting business clients. Throughout her career at Branson Bank (over 22 years), she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to delivering tailored financial solutions, building lasting client relationships and driving growth within the business banking segment.
“Norma exemplifies the dedication, knowledge and client-first approach that defines our organization,” said Katie Hodges, EVP, chief operations officer. “This promotion reflects not only her professional achievements but also the trust and respect she has earned from customers, colleagues and the community.”
Beyond professional accomplishments, Desrochers is deeply committed to community engagement. As a lifetime resident, her involvement underscores a belief in giving back and strengthening the community in which she was born and raised. Her involvement includes serving on the boards of the Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce, the Hollister Chamber Leading Ladies, the Branson-Hollister Senior Center and the Taney County Tax Board. Last fall, she completed the Branson Lakes Area Leadership Program.
Desrochers is a proud supporter of Kirbyville and Hollister Schools. She enjoys going to flea markets and spending time with her husband, Roland, and their children and grandchildren.
Branson Bank Partners With Legacy Academy to Support Financial Literacy
In recognition of Financial Literacy Month, Branson Bank visited the ninth-grade students at Legacy Academy to engage in meaningful conversations about practical money management and responsible financial decision-making.
During the visit, Norma Desrochers, AVP, senior business relationship banker, introduced real-life financial scenarios designed to build practical knowledge and confidence. Topics included saving, budgeting and planning for major purchases. Students learned how to open and use a bank account, the importance of building healthy financial habits early and strategies for making informed spending decisions.
“Our goal is to equip students with tools they can implement early and use for a lifetime,” said Desrochers. “By starting these conversations early, we are able to help young people build a strong foundation for financial understanding and long-term success.”
“We are grateful that Branson Bank took the time to bring financial concepts to life for our students,” said Mr. Martin, 9th-grade teacher. “Hearing real-world examples about saving, working and making smart purchases helped them see how today’s choices can shape their future.”

Branson Bank Appoints Eric Simkins as President
Branson Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Simkins as president. Simkins’ promotion reflects Branson Bank’s proactive commitment to long-term success. This leadership transition is part of a strategic succession plan designed to ensure the bank remains strong, community-focused and well-positioned into the future.
“Branson Bank is dedicated to building relationships and investing in our local communities,” said bank co-founder Bill Jones. “As we look to the future, it’s important that we continue to evolve our leadership structure. Eric embodies the values, experience and local insight that will carry our mission forward. I look forward to supporting Eric in his new role and mentoring Branson Bank’s next generation of financial leaders.”
Simkins is known for his leadership, community involvement and deep understanding of the local market. He is well-equipped to guide the bank into its next chapter, overseeing strategic initiatives, daily operations, supporting management and maintaining strong community relations.
“I am honored to step into this role and continue serving my community. As a graduate of Blue Eye High School and as a College of the Ozarks alum, I love this area and will continue to invest in the Stone and Taney County communities,” said Simkins. “We have an incredible team and a strong foundation at Branson Bank, and I look forward to building success for our employees, shareholders and customers in the years to come.”
After receiving his undergraduate degree from College of the Ozarks in 2002, he worked for three years at Branson Bank as a consumer lender. In 2005, an opportunity arose to own the American Family Insurance Agency in Branson West, where he managed a successful operation for over 16 years. In 2022, he returned to Branson Bank and oversaw its transition into a full-service bank, including the construction of a new facility in Branson West. In 2024, Simkins completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
Simkins is involved in numerous organizations throughout the area, including the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Table Rock Lake and the Kimberling City Elks Lodge 2505, and served as a past board member of the Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks. He enjoys hiking, boating and following the St. Louis Cardinals. He resides in Branson with his wife, Adria. They have three children.
Farmers & Merchants Bank Honors Joyce Janes for 50 Years of Service
May 3, 1976, stands out as an especially historic day for Farmers & Merchants Bank (FMB). It was the day Joyce Janes began her career with FMB, starting as an extra bookkeeper hired by Gene Dixon. Over the next five decades, Joyce built a career defined by dedication, versatility, and unwavering commitment to the bank and the St. Clair community.
Throughout her tenure at Farmers & Merchants Bank, Joyce served in many roles, including bookkeeping, the loan department, executive administration, retail banking, marketing and ultimately as vice president, where she managed the bank’s Travel Club and customer events.
Joyce’s service has been widely recognized over the years. Her honors include multiple awards from the St. Clair Chamber of Commerce, the St. Clair Rotary Club and the St. Clair R-13 School District, recognizing her leadership, volunteerism and dedication to public service.
In addition to her professional roles, Joyce volunteered countless hours representing Farmers & Merchants Bank at community events and organizations, including local festivals, fundraisers and golf tournaments, and served for eight years on the St. Clair Chamber of Commerce Board.
While Joyce has transitioned into a very part time role, continuing her work with the Travel Club, her legacy at Farmers & Merchants Bank remains strong. Farmers & Merchants Bank is proud to celebrate Joyce Janes’ remarkable 50 years of service, which reflect the best of community banking.
